I love my job. It’s fun, fun, fun. But, it’s not as easy as many of you think it is or as I have been told on murmurous occasions “you make this look so easy”. LOL Not only does it take talent and lots of training which never ends, it takes knowledge of your camera inside and out. So many people think it’s all in the camera, but I can tell you from experience, that it’s not the camera. The camera only does what I tell it to do. 🙂 So, this is not going to be your ordinary blog post. I’ve decided to show a little behind the scenes from this session. Some good and some not so good. But, as I was scrolling through this session on my camera when I got home, I couldn’t help but laugh. These two boys were sooooo cute and fun but they were also very busy and goofy. And, this IS typical for young kids. Not just boys, girls too. And, I often get parents who wonder if I got “anything good”. LOL Then they see the images and are surprised and very happy. 🙂 All I can do is try to build their confidence during the session… “trust me. I know what I am doing”. Hahaha! I would ask these two cuties to come over here so I can take your picture. You know, tying to get them into “my” lighting. I would get a couple of shots and then I would hear “now, you come over here and get my picture doing a backflip”. LOL They were a hoot and I had a lot of fun getting to know them. So, follow along as I show you some images from our session together.
Awhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
And…. the very next shot…. HAHAHA!!!!!!
And, back to Awhhhhhhh!!!! 🙂
And now… the not so cute. 🙁 If you have been following my blog at all, you know that I have been doing a lot of complaining about the mosquitoes this summer. Not only are they a nuscents during the session, but a huge pain after the session as well. Please see Exhibit A below. You will notice the culprit on the poor little guys nose and the welts it left behind. 🙁
So, there you have it… the good, the bad, the bugs and the cute, cute, cute and the reason…. I LOVE MY JOB!!!! 🙂 Anyway, “K” family, besides the nasty bug on your poor little dudes nose, I hope you enjoy your little sneak preview. 🙂 While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment. I would love to know what you think so far. Thank-you, Kimberly
