Q: Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If yes, how did your shoot with Kimberly compare to your prior experience?
A: No, only professional pictures ever taken were my senior high school pictures. Over 15 years ago!
Q: What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself?
A: My husband was going to be away for military training, which he does often. And I wanted him to have a keepsake of what’s waiting for him at home. I’m very plain, quiet and shy so I really wanted an amazing surprise for him.
Q: Why did you choose Kimberly Ann Photography for your boudoir experience?
A: It must have been through facebook. And since facebook seems to know everything you look at, several other advertisements started popping up. Kimberly Ann s looked way more intense, fun and better backgrounds. Plus it was further away and I didnt want to go close to home. Wanted to be more discrete and not recognized.
Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?
A: Like most, I was super nervous. I was feeling out of place and no idea what I got myself into. But right away, I loved the one on one attention and loved her advice on how to pose. I felt beautiful and like a model.
Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?
A: Feeling amazingly gorgeous and a boost in my self esteem. I left there proving to myself, that I could go out my comfort zone and show myself, and my husband that I do have a rocking body! Even though he tells me I’m beautiful all the time, I really felt it for myself.
Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?
A: Confidence and higher self esteem of my body image. Now when he tells me I’m beautiful, I’m like, see! I have proof lol.
I really wish I could do this over again. Being more relaxed. I think I was to tense and worried I wasn’t posing just right.
I plan on saving up and to do another with Kim.
